Who we are

Reader Ink is developed by İlker Yıldırım. This policy describes how Reader Ink handles information on iPhone and iPad. You do not need to create a Reader Ink account. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or requests.

Your documents and on-device processing

Reader Ink opens documents you select and processes PDFs, annotations, signatures, text recognition and supported Apple Intelligence features on your device. Reader Ink does not send your document content, signatures or AI prompts to our servers or to RevenueCat.

Documents stay with the storage provider you choose, such as local Files, iCloud Drive or another file provider. That provider handles its own storage, transfers and backups under its privacy policy. Sharing or exporting a document sends it to the destination you choose. Camera access is requested for scanning; the system photo picker gives Reader Ink access to the images you select.

Purchases and RevenueCat

The App Store processes payments. Reader Ink uses RevenueCat to load purchase options, verify and restore purchases, and determine whether Pro is active. RevenueCat processes purchase history, subscription status, an automatically generated app user identifier, and technical information such as app and operating-system versions. This information supports purchase functionality and purchase analytics.

Reader Ink does not provide your name or email address to RevenueCat and does not receive your full payment-card details. Purchase data may be processed in countries other than your own, as described in the providers’ policies. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Support and your choices

If you contact us, we receive the contact details, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request. Send only the document content needed to explain your issue. Reader Ink does not use your information for third-party advertising or cross-app advertising tracking.

We retain support correspondence as needed to handle your request and meet applicable legal obligations. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records under their policies and applicable requirements. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Contact [email protected] to make a request; records required for legal obligations may need to be retained.

Removing data

Removing a document from Reader Ink’s library does not delete the source PDF. Manage or delete source documents and exported copies in Files or the storage provider you chose. Uninstalling Reader Ink does not delete documents stored outside its app container, cancel subscriptions or automatically remove purchase records. See Managing and deleting your data.

You can review or revoke camera permissions in your device settings.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when our data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
